He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Shepherd Pardue (Richard) and Avis Shepherd Frick (Roger); his grandchildren, Karl Erik (Dustie), Tristan Frick (Mary Katherine) and Atalie Bare (Josh); his great grandchildren, Anna Jane, Oliver, Cannon, Ross, Westley, Grayden and Casen; and his brother-in-law Richard Furr.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Luther's Lutheran Church (4955 Richfield Rd, Richfield, NC 28137). Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
