She was predeceased by: her parents, Lionel Tennyson and Willie Mae Newsome Holloman; her husband George Ruben "Buck" Bishop; her brother L. T. Holloman, Jr.; her sister-in-law Hilda Evans; and her niece Vicky Stanfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Johnson (Don) of Franklin and Wendy Bishop of Raleigh; her grandsons, Matthew Johnson (Rebecca) of Franklin and Aaron Johnson (Victoria) of Virginia Beach; her great grandchild Caroline Johnson (Virginia) of Franklin; and her niece Joyce Rilee of Mechanicsville, Virginia..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service - Rich Square Chapel (116 Short St, Rich Square, NC 27869). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 147 Cemetery Rd, Roxobel, NC 27872.
