She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Brown and Fannie Brown; her husband Charles Edward Brown; and her siblings, Lillian B. Lemaster and Otis Carson Brown, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn B. McCoy (Paul) of Scotland Neck and Jayne B. Everett (Tad) of Scotland Neck; her siblings, Ferrell Rawls, Margaret Browning, Ruth Boyer (Jack) and Wilson Barnes (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Sue Anne Everett Pilgreen, Lynn Everett Hale, Charles Michael McCoy, Paul Carson McCoy and Benjamin Bryan Everett, III; and her great grandchildren, Alice Carson McCoy, Charlotte Riley McCoy, Kennedy Lynn Fipps, Emerson Jayne Fipps, Elizabeth Glenn Everett, Lila Grace Hale, Laura Jayne Hale, Charles Austin McCoy, Garrett Paul McCoy, Graham Anderson McCoy, Benjamin Bryan Everett IV and John Charles Hale.
