He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Morris Vick and Joyel Dudley Vick. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Futrell Vick; his daughters, Jennifer Byrum of Rich Square and Stacey Vick of Fort Myers, FL; and his grandchildren, Hayden Byrum and Alaiya Vick. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (116 Short St, Rich Square, NC 27869). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rich Square Baptist Church (116 W Jackson St, Rich Square, NC 27869). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Cedarlawn Cemetery.
