She is survived by: her son William E. Davis, Jr. of Washington, D. C.; her grandson William Josiah Edwards Davis; her great grandchild Freya Jane of Toronto; her son Ontario; her granddaughter Julia Edwards Davis Mead (Nelson); her daughters, Hall Elizabeth Meadows Mead and Caroline McRae Edwards Mead of New Orleans; her son-in-law Ken Shelton (Mia); and her grandchild Melina of Chapel Hill. She is also survived by nephews and nieces and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
