It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Carter Johnson of Rich Square, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bernard Johnson and Irene Davis Johnson; and his siblings, Catherine Taylor, Thadys Dewar and Marvin Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Mihovch (C. C.) of Wanchese, NC and Susan Johnson of Winter Haven, FL; his sisters, Trilby Mays of Richmond, VA and Miriam Rasberry of Farmville, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Hoggard of Kitty Hawk, NC and Brent Hymes (Sarah) of Manteo, NC; and his great grandchildren, Jase Hoggard of Kitty Hawk, NC, Jaxen Hoggard of Kitty Hawk, NC, Grayson Hymes of Manteo, NC and Layla Koonce of Manteo, NC..
A private family graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Roberts Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Pendleton, NC, with Rev. John Porter, officiating, and due to COVID-19 restrictions face coverings are required and social distancing measures will be taken.
