He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Ruth Mader and Alfred John Oberdorf; and his siblings, Lawrence Oberdorf, Marjorie Oberdorf Burton and Diane Oberdorf Dearsman.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Pruden Oberdorf; his siblings, Fredrick Oberdorf (Judy) of Clyde, OH and Fran Oberdorf Morgan of Belview, OH.; his siblings-in-law, Ann Pruden Saine of Virginia Beach, VA, Bobbie Pruden Conway of Newport News, VA, Marie Pruden Northcott of Colerain, NC, Dick Pruden (Vickie) of Gloucester, VA, Mike Pruden (Jane) of Roxobel, NC, Sammy Pruden (Linda) of Roxobel, NC and Roger Pruden (Gail) of Spring Hill, FL.; his niece Devonna Castillo of Middletown, CT.; and his nephew Dillon Pruden of Roxobel, NC.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (116 Short St, Rich Square, NC 27869). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
