He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Blanton Outland (Freddie) of Woodland, Donna Britt (Neil) of Harrellsville, Lisa Echerd (Glenn) of Roanoke Rapids and Johnnie Lawrence Blanton, Jr. of Woodland; his nieces, Vickie Soper of Woodland, Brittney Matthews (Frankie) of Murfreesboro and McKayla Brinkley (Austin) of Aulander; his nephew Brad Outland (Jessica) of Wilmington; his pet Callie Blanton; and his stepchildren, Brittany Powell and Justin Campbell. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews.
