He is survived by: his wife Eva O Rose; his children, Donald Rose Jr. (Sharon) and Laura Texier (Gregoire) of San Diego; his sisters, Pearl Dunbar (George), Dorthy Flythe (George) and Addie Baird; and his grandsons, Jacob Rose (Paige), Matt Rose, Sam Rose and Jean-Luc Texier.
