He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Browning and Gail Hendrix Browning; his grandparents, Viola and Jack Hendrix; and his stepdaughter Brandy Evans.
He is survived by: his sons, William Browning, Jr. (Shelby) of Nebo, Justin Matthew Browning of Hickory, Brandon Jack Browning of Hudson and Tommy Joe Browning of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Browning, Malachi Browning, Walker Browning, Isaac Browning, Baylee Browning and Skyler Starnes; his fiancée Deanna Reece of Rhodhiss; his stepchildren, Heath Evans and Nickalos Evans; and his siblings, Trudie Underwood (James) of Boiling Springs, Timothy Browning of Connelly Springs, Vickie Pendergrast (Ronnie) of Kings Mountain, David Browning (C. J.) of Hickory and Marty Browning of Rhodhiss.
