We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2023, at the age of 80, Rachel Burris Munday of Rhodhiss, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel J. Burris and Violet Lutz Burris; her husband Cecil "Bud" Munday; her brothers, Ray Burris and David Burris; and her stepfather Dewey Hollar.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Greer (Kent) of Lenoir, John Munday of Icard and Gary Munday (Tiffany) of Oak Island; her grandchildren, Kyle Greer (Kary), Ashlyn Taylor (Kiefer), Hunter Greer and Karahgan Munday; and her great grandchildren, Atlas Taylor, Aurora Taylor and Karter Greer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Rhodhiss First Baptist Church at P.O. Box 29 Rhodhiss, NC 28667.
