It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Carole Kirby of Rhodhiss, North Carolina, born in Lapeer, Michigan, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rawlins and Vivian Hutchens Rawlins; her husband Glen Kirby; her sisters, Nancy Barker and Dorothy Morris; and her great grandchild Tory Johns.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Kirby of Hickory, NC, Deana McMurtry of Granite Falls, NC and Glenda Fisher of St. Peters, MO; her siblings, Donald Rawlins (Elaine) of Capac, MI and Donna Ryks (Tom) of Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Larry McMurtry (Amy), Gary McMurtry (Gaby), Barry McMurtry (Mary), Terry McMurtry (Katie), Heather Fisher, Joel Fisher and Jacob Fisher. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
