He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Eddie" and Mary Ercille Blackley of Wake County; and his siblings, James, Bobby Blackley and Lorene Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Karen (Ken Best) and Phillip (Celine Blackley); his grandchildren, Kyle, Elizabeth Elliott, Nicole, Jeremy Pace, Kevin Blackley, Julia Frederick and Kaili Best; his great grandchild Owen Elliott; and his siblings, Doris Johnson, Carolyn, Paul Brown, Glen, Robert Woodard, Sue Lancaster, Deborah Massey, Larry, Shirley Blackley, Tony and Reba Blackley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
