He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Ammons; his children, Tonya Mcnatt (Joshua), Julie Smith (John) and Russell Franklin Ammons, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley Garr, Jeremy Garr, Richard Ayscue, Jr., Anthony Graham and Jasmine Mcbride; his great grandchildren, Diamond Garr, Kayden Garr and Paisley Mckoy; and his siblings, Patsy Smith, Sherwood Ammons and Shane Ammons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
