He is survived by: his son Ronald Steven Norwood; his daughter-in-law Gretchen Digby Norwood of Raleigh; his daughter Laura Norwood Smith; his son-in-law Vince Smith of Bozeman, MT; his grandchildren, Ronald Tyler Norwood of Raleigh, Hannah Norwood of Denver, CO, Karen Smith of Madison, WI and Meredith Smith of Madison, WI; his sisters, Penny Norwood Williams (Bob Williams) and Georgia Norwood Liles (Ersell Liles); and his nieces and nephews, George Williams (Sarah), Karla Williams, Vicki Shute (David) and Allison Bailey (Michael). He is also survived by 6 great-nieces and nephews.
