She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Excell Hicks; and her children, Brenda Lee Hicks Phillips of Clinton, NC, Peggy Jean Hicks Register of Clinton, NC, Sallie Augusta Hicks of Clinton, NC, Pollyanna Hicks Caldwell of Turkey, NC, Cynthia Diane Hicks Smith of Clinton, NC, David Alexander Boone of Clinton, NC, Tyrone McKeithen of Roseboro, NC, Ronnie Excell Hicks of Faison, NC and Kenneth Hicks of Clinton, NC. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
