As Joyce Jones departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joyce Jones may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce Jones leaves behind.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Causey of Cary, NC; her sons, Jerel Causey (Leslie) of Atlanta, GA and Jeff Causey (Ashley) of Roanoke, TX; her grandchildren, Caroline, Chase, Brooks and Banks; and her sisters, Lois Tharrington (Bill) of Summerfield, NC and Dot Smith (Roger) of Benson, NC..
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church (1800 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27608).
