She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Johnson and Docia Johnson; and her husband Benjamin "Franklin" Shaw. She is survived by: her sister Volene Britt; her daughters, Carmen Shaw and Jane McNeill (David); her grandchildren, Margaret Carlene Finley (Elliott Hollifield), Joseph Franklin Shaw (Leigh Anne), Kimberly McNeill Tirpak (Tyler) and Mitchell David McNeill; her great grandchildren, Franklin Asher Shaw and Troy Niall Tirpak; her granddaughter Karrie Schulte (Ricky); her great grandchildren, Willow, Knox and Rhett; and her caregiver Bettie Glover. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
