It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Denny Steger Jr. of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Denny and Mary Sue Miles Steger; and his siblings, Sid Steger and Emily Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Karen Handy Steger of Reidsville; his daughter Paige S. Walker (David) of Reidsville; his brother John Steger (Robin) of Dublin, VA; and his brother-in-law Keith Handy (Donna) of Reidsville.
