He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Barker and Novella Barker; and his sisters, Katherine Howerton and Nellie Stone. He is survived by: his sons, William Barker, Jr. (Kathie), Jerry Barker (Lisa) and Mark Barker (Laura); his grandchildren, Ashley Judy (David), Taylor Summers (Jesse), Kayla Nguyen (Alex), Brooke Neal (Jacob), Matthew Barker, Mitchell Barker, Mason Barker, Dillon Barker and Weston Barker; his great grandchildren, Marshall, Callie, Violet, Nolan, Hadley, Heidi and Lena; his siblings, Barbara Jones (Ronnie) and James Barker (Donna); and his brother-in-law David Howerton.
