He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Stone Daniel, Mamie Bell Phillips, William Burton (Telley) and Martha Elliott Willis; his in-laws, Robert and Loretta Rimmer; and his nephew Brad Sowers.
He is survived by: his parents, Bobby Willis and Merry Willis (Reidsville); his wife Tanya Rimmer Willis; his children, David Alex Willis (Louise) and Merry Kate Parks (Dustin); his brother Benjamin Willis (Sandy); his grandchildren, Trevor Alexander Willis, Ellie Katreen Parks, Walston Devin Willis and Marleigh Wren Parks; his pets, Louie and Cupid; and his caregiver Kimberly Smith. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's name may be made to the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, honoring his commitment to supporting blue-collar workers, or to Baptist Temple Church in Reidsville.
