It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vester Houston Pyrtle (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Vester Roosevelt Pyrtle; his wife Marian Talley Pyrtle; and his siblings, Doris Philephs, Marie Carter, Louise Handy and Buford Pyrtle.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Pyrtle (Marcy) and Laurie Pyrtle; his grandchildren, Morgan Pyrtle (Andrik Brickley), Bryan Pyrtle and Cason Pyrtle; and his sisters, Estelle Owens, Nancy Smith and Edith Cain. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
