She was predeceased by: her parents, David Junior Buchanan and Helen Howell Buchanan; her brothers, Jerry Buchanan and Ronnie Buchanan; and her nephew David Buchanan.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Preston Aswell, Sr.; her children, Robert "Buddy" Preston Aswell, Jr. (Lisa), Jamie Danielle Doman (Eric), Linda Rose Chamblee (Davidson) and Ruth Anne Davidson (Ernie); her niece Michelle Garrison (Tommy); her grandchildren, Jacob Key Aswell, Skyler Renae Aswell, Isaac Jonathan Doman, Robert "Tripp" Preston Aswell III, Wanda Phillips, Lee Ann Lloyd, Jack Chamblee and Will Davidson; her sister Linda Hobson (Ralph); and her nieces and nephews, Mike Buchanan, Brandon Buchanan, Darla Kegley, Mollie Schulman and Jordan Garrison. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Memory Gardens (7875 US-158, Reidsville, NC 27320).
