She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Henry and Effie Williams Basham; her husband James E. "Pete" McCleney; and her siblings, Beatrice Basham, James Basham (Sarah), Glenn Basham (Gladys), Richard Basham (Helen), Edith, Margaret Basham Love (Jack) and Curtis Basham (Carolyn).

She is survived by: her son Joseph F. McCleney; and her sisters, Virginia Basham Holmes and Eunice Massey.
