She was predeceased by: her husband James Major Britt, Sr.; her mother Pearl Thacker Finley; her stepfather Joe Finley (James Major Britt, Sr.); her children, Nina Britt Blackwell, Betty Jo Britt, Donald Lee Britt and William Kenny Britt; and her grandson Kenneth Robert Leon Britt.

She is survived by: her children, James Major Britt, Jr., Annie Britt Allen and George Britt; and her siblings, Robert Napper and Bernice Napper Evans. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
