He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Joyce; his brothers, Ferry O. Joyce, Jr. and Larry W. Joyce; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Lillian McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Paula McDonald Joyce; his children, Jennifer "JJ" Joyce Evans (Steve), Jeffery Scott Joyce (Christina) and Sheila Joyce Hunt (Bobby); his grandchildren, Kayla McMillan (Matt), Alaina Griffin (Chris), Austin Hunt, Owen Robertson, Carson Robertson and Logan Davidson; his great grandchild Emma Kayte McMillan; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Barham Joyce, Shirley McDonald Johnson and Peggy Goldman Joyce.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Glencoe United Methodist Church, 601 Glencoe Church Loop, Summerfield, NC 27358.
