He is survived by: his wife Kay Ellis Simpson; his sons, Roger Dalton Simpson II (Brooke Simpson) of Reidsville and Christopher Lane Simpson (Tiffany Lane Simpson) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Jude Gray Simpson, Taylor Kate Simpson, Alaina-Jo Simpson and Jeremiah Lane Simpson; and his brothers, Lee Simpson (Carolyn) of McLeansville, Mike Simpson (Peggy) of Kenly and Pat Simpson (Kathy) of McLeansville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ancora Compassionate Care, formerly Hospice of Rockingham County.
