Though Robert Allen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Swanson and Carrie Martin Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Virginia Johnson Carroll; and his children, Doris Renee Manley, Robert Allen Carroll II (Laurie) and Edward Hunter Carroll (Lynn). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dan River Primitive Baptist Church (8684 NC-700, Ruffin, NC 27326). A burial was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
