He is survived by: his wife Nancy Arthur Toney; his children, Richard Craig Toney (Renee) of Reidsville, James Herbert Toney of Reidsville, Stephen Lanier Toney (Sherri) of Summerfield, Matthew Glenn Toney (Debbi) of Waynesboro, PA and Carol Lynn Moore (Alvin) of Reidsville; his sisters, Gloria Deeds of Barberton, OH, Phyllis and Lois Jackson of Charleston, WV.; his grandchildren, Amanda Price (Justin), Candice Hughes (Tim), Eric Toney, Brettany Brown (Heath), Samantha Chavanne (Eliot), Katie Lynn Davis, Nathan Toney, Daniel Toney, Megan Burnside (Kevin) and Cara Toney; and his great grandchildren, Garret Hughes, Gracie Hughes, Quinn Price, Joel Price, Penny Brown, Nellie Brown, Maren Brown, Evelyn Burnside, Aiden Burnside and Emmett Chavanne.
