It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Boyd Pruitt (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Pruitt and Lucille Pruitt; and his siblings, Shirley Tate, Bobby Pruitt and Billy Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Pruitt; his children, Jason Pruitt (Kelley) and Terri Pepin (John); his grandchildren, Andrew Pruitt (Erica), John Pruitt (Shanna), Brooke Newsome, Hunter Newsome, Noah Pruitt and Brett Pruitt; his great grandchild Oliver Pruitt; and his siblings, Ralph Pruitt (Jean) and Peggy.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Woodmont United Methodist Church (1926 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Woodmont United Methodist Church, Missions & Outreach.
