With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline McClure Stuckey of Reidsville, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Graham McClure and John C. McClure; her husband Leon Carrington; her siblings, Annie Mae Neal, Verlie Powell, Dorethea Robinson, Minnie Bell McClure, Johnny McClure, Lonnie McClure and Eugene McClure; and her son-in-law David L. Settle.
She is survived by: her daughter Paulette Carrington Settle of Reidsville, NC; her grandchildren, L'Tanya Settle-Charles (Rhett) of New Orleans, LA, Nneka Settle (Hal) of Dallas, TX and Sseka Settle of Reidsville, NC; her great grandchildren, Amari Sparks, Darius Sparks of Dallas, TX, Lyncoln Charles, Rhett Charles, Jr. of New Orleans, LA and Asha Wallace of Reidsville, NC; her sister-in-law Margaret McClure of Atlanta, GA; and her goddaughters, Gloria Jones of Reidsville, NC, Pauline Stubblefield of Reidsville, NC and Mary Lee Bolden of Reidsville, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
