He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Holt Underwood and Hulda Selena Walker; and his siblings, Dot Rice, Horace Underwood, Wallace Underwood, Homer Underwood, Lois Minson, Grey Miles and David Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Tillie Sartin Underwood; his sons, Wallace Underwood (Kay) and Kenneth Underwood (Julie); and his grandchildren, Leah Underwood Jordan, Brett Underwood and Katherine "Katie" Underwood Dailey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burton Memorial Baptist Church (184 Cook Florist Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at the Burton Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery (184 Cook Florist Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320).
