It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsy Cook Tate (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Leroy Tate; her parents, Edna Cook and Loyd Cook; and her brother Don Cook. She is survived by: her children, John David Tate (Alicia) of Graham, NC and Beth Tate of Greensboro; her granddaughters, Danielle Rice (Jason) of Chicago, IL and Sarah Kennedy (Chase) of Portland, OR; her children, Mary Tate (Jordan) of Hoboken, NJ and Daniel Tate of Mooresville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Audrey and Madeline Rice. She is also survived by "Maw Maw" and "GP" by her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodmont United Methodist Church (1926 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
