He was predeceased by: his wife Alyne Dixon Martin; and his brother Otha Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Briles (Ken) of Asheboro and Jan Lindsey (Bill) of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Ryan Moore (Kristine Parks) of Greensboro, Kyle Lindsey (Christal Lindsey) of Mocksville and Caroline Lindsey of Reidsville.
