He was predeceased by: his parents, Numa Washburn and Myrtle Washburn; his wife Carolyn Jean Washburn; his sons, Ron Washburn and Earl Washburn; and his sisters, Dot Wilson, Mary Lou Chambers and Frances King.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hill, Kenny Washburn (Vickie) and Debra Billingsley (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Jessica Lasley (Kevin), Joey Washburn, Tim Washburn (Tiffany), Bif Washburn (Kris), Wendy Washburn (Jennifer), Mark Hill, Craig Handy (Julie) and Chris Handy (Katie); his daughter-in-law Barbara Washburn; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Washburn, Gavin Washburn, Alex Washburn, Zack Washburn, Kate Washburn, Khloe Weekley, Kylie Futral and Rod Washburn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Memory Gardens (7875 US-158, Reidsville, NC 27320).
