She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Frederick and Lucy Etta Talley Taylor; her husband Henry C. Garrison; her sisters, Kathleen Taylor, Marguerite Martin, Elizabeth Taylor and Gladys Gunn; and her stepson Carl Wayne Garrison.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Susan Reid of Reidsville, Carolyn Fuqua of Summerfield and Jerry Garrison (Sandy) of Reidsville; and her brother Dillard Taylor of Reidsville. She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
