She was predeceased by: her parents, Philmon Horace Underwood and Frances Moore Underwood; her siblings, Carol Childrey, Catherine Underwood, Wesley Underwood and Philmon Underwood Jr.; and her stepbrother Michael Mathews.
She is survived by: her son Austin Underwood of Tennessee; her brother Christopher Robert Underwood (Brenda) of Tennessee; her stepmother Mildred Underwood of Person County; her nephew Jeremy Shelton of Reidsville; her niece Leann Shelton Spivey (Larry) of Reidsville; and her stepsister Wanda Mathews Birch of Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
