He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Myrtie Maness Harden; and his siblings, Bennie Paul Harden and Ruby Harden Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gray Harden; his sons, Rev. Ryan Harden (Sarah) of Reidsville and Nathaniel Harden (Angela) of Reidsville; his siblings, Larry Harden (Carleen) of Greensboro, Dr. Bill Harden (Becky) of Wilmington and Betty Harden Smith (Eddie) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Matthew Harden, Samuel Harden, Hannah Harden, Caleb Harden, Joseph Harden and Tasha Martin; and his great grandchildren, James Dean Martin and Claire Martin.
