He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Settle and Minnie Williams Settle; his wife Elizabeth Settle; his son Mack Settle Jr.; his siblings, Jessie Settle, Elisha Settle, Elijah Settle (Pearl), William Settle, Jake Settle (Delores), Herman Settle (Sue) and Annie Settle; his brother-in-law Joseph Williamson Sr.; and his stepsons, Alphony and Anthony Settle.
He is survived by: his daughter R. Darlene Perkins (Bennie) of Blue Springs, MO; his sister Lona Mae Williamson of Reidsville, NC; his daughter-in-law JoAnn Settle of Reidsville, NC; his grandchildren, Nikki Settle of Norfolk, VA, Dezmon Settle (Janay) of Reidsville, NC, Jewel Perkins of Atlanta, GA and Tristan Perkins of Charlotte, NC; his stepgrandsons, Bryant Settle of Reidsville, NC, Gerard (Candida) and Quinton Settle; and his friends, Herman Farrish and Rev. Tommy Williamson. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
