He was predeceased by: his father Billie Brown; his daughter Heather Buchanan; and his sister Barbara Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sepsi Brown; his son Bryan Buchanan (Amanda); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Buchanan, Nolan and Mary Buchanan; and his sister Carolyn Hunter. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the North Carolina Chapter of the ALS association or Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist ALS Clinic.
