He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dillard; his children, Larry Dillard, Jr., Tameka Totten and LaRay Sheffield; his grandchildren, Mekail Winchester, A'Jaya Sheffield, Mecca Winchester, Christian Dillard, Ai'Kari Tucker and Landon Dillard; his great grandchild Mila Winchester; his siblings, Lena Blackwell (Samuel), Sharon Turner (William), Patricia Settle, Regina Williamson, Cynthia Dillard (Wayne), Vasceylia Dillard, Vickie Jean Scott (John), Theresa Slade, Therese Hensley, Carolyn Courts, Joan Courts, John Dillard (Mary Ann), Gregory Hewitt (Tammy), Alfornia Hensley and Rodell Hensley (Louvenia); his aunt Larinda "Red" Blair (Debra Herbin); and his close friend Michael Mooney Stubblefield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Galilee Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Church (224 Pennsylvania Ave, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
