He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Toler Manring; his parents, Dewey A. Manring and June Cantrell Manring; and his grandsons, Jordan Archibald and Jared Archibald.

He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Manring Hudson and Kelly Manring Bratcher (John); his grandchildren, Joshua Chilton, Garrett Collins, William Hudson and Jaidan Archibald; his great grandchildren, Kensleigh Archibald and Abrielle Archibald; his sister Susan Manring Pyrtle; and his niece Tanya Renee Chilton.
