She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Deaton and Leona Deaton. She is survived by: her children, Debby Conner (Randy), Ronald C. "Butch" Smith, Jr., James Edward Smith (Sheri) and Rebecca Smith McCarthy (Nathan); and her brother Charles Deaton. She is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
