It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine W. Broadnax (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ward and Coulinertt Ward; her husband Theodore "Teddy" Broadnax; and her siblings, Sam Ward, Harry Ward, Ben Ward, Robert Ward, Mary Ella Smarr, Gracie Ward and Mamie Sadler.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice L. Ward; her grandchildren, Antoinetta D. Fulton and Arianna D. Fulton (Mike); her great grandchildren, Shannon Rowland (Lamont) and Nah'Shon Farrar; her great great grandchild Bryson; and her close friends, Henry and Marsette Summers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends.
