He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Robert Kennon and Elsie Moore Kennon; and his son John Wayne Kennon. He is survived by: his wife Mae Kennon; his children, Linda Edwards, David Kennon (Rita), Mike Kennon (Carolyn), Donnie Ray Kennon and Mark Edwards (Cindy); and his grandson John Edwards. He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Mount Carmel Global Church Cemetery (361 Mt Carmel Church Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320).
