He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin May and Mary Pete Lucas May; his wife Nancy Perdue May; his brothers, Edward May, Wayne May and James May; and his pet Bruiser.
He is survived by: his children, Michael May (Tammy) and Michelle May (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Angell May, Dakota May and Summer Smith; his great grandchild Dillon "Nugget" May; and his sisters, Shirley Shelton and Barbara Ann Bowden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses or to Eden Rehabilitation Center, 226 N Oakland Ave, Eden, NC 27288.
