It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Watson Dye (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dye and Opal Stone Dye; and his wife Emma Thomas Dye. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Fagge (Phyllis), Marcia Davis (Johnny) and Yvonne Edmunds (Mike); and his sisters, Elizabeth Rose (Mike), Joan Walter (Tom) and Brenda Massey. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for memorial contributions to be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
