Ida Travis Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2022, at the age of 94, Ida Travis Jones of Reidsville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Gunn Travis and Vella Crumpton Travis; her husband Eugene Wood Jones; her siblings, Rosa Ellington and A. G. Travis; and her brothers-in-law, J. C. Barts and Jack Ellington.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby W. Jones (Margaret) of Reidsville and Ann J. Johnson of Lincolnton; her grandsons, Alexander W. Jones and Cameron H. Johnson; her siblings, James Travis and Francis T. Barts of Reidsville; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Travis of Greensboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors after the service in the church fellowship hall. (Feel free to wear masks at the reception following the service) Mrs. Jones was a native of Caswell County and lived most of her life in the Williamsburg community.
