He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Will and Eliza Kate Scott Robertson; his wife Pauline Robertson; his daughter Diane Springs (Elvin Springs); and his siblings, Janie Jarrell, Sarah Johnson, Jim Will Robertson, Jr. and Walter Robertson.

He is survived by: his son Donnie Robertson (Beth Robertson); his grandchildren, Chris Ratliff, Leigh Robertson (Nick Lauretta), Kamron Robertson (Khi Downey) and Carrie Ratliff Tuck (Grandy Tuck); his great grandchildren, John Ratliff (Ragan Ratliff), Zinn Lauretta, Ava Tuck, Asa Lauretta and Willow Tuck; his brother-in-law W. A. Wall; and also Marshall Ratliff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery (1611 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Mt Hermon Baptist Church (1611 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC 27320).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina or Mount Hermon Baptist Church.

He is the one I looked up to that never said a cuss word. He’s the one brought home Libby Hills fish. He is the one that told me no but he was the one when I didn’t wanna eat where everybody else ate that he would carry me to McDonald’s. I was too young to know what I was really doing, and I am sorry for”
