He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Jones Sr. and Frances Blackmon; his stepfather Walter Blackmon, Sr.; his brothers, Larry Jones, Garland Blackmon, Walter Blackmon, Jr., Douglas Blackmon and Donald Blackmon; and his son Michael Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Jones; his son Steven Jones; his stepchildren, Nathan McKinney (Angie), Kevin McKinney (Patricia) and Lisa Benson; his grandchildren, Kristian Jones Robertson (Jonathan), Kay, Victoria Jones, Brandon Jones and Tarrin Jones; his great grandchildren, Jaden Robertson and Leland Robertson; his brother Ronnie Jones (Charlotte); and his stepsisters, Mary Blackmon Hill (Buck) and Faye Blackmon Rutherford (Dean).
